About Us

Here at Taste The Cloud our focus is whatever we think is interesting, if other people have the same interests we hope they find us and can contribute to the discussions.

Since this is a site that was purposed to satisfy the requirements of my family and their internet posting needs (me included) it has also become my personal website. This is convenient in that it is allowing me to satisfy both personal and some professional requirements I had - convenient.

It is an open site, everyone is invited to participate and interact on any of the topics - most are pretty deep and generate some strong feelings, that's a good thing. Feedback is welcome, if you have some ideas on content, the site, whatever - don't hesitate to send us that feedback, we appreciate it. The site is developed using the Drupal CMS (version 6.14) along with a dozen or so modules (extensions). I expect to develop some custom modules that support longer term ideas that will happen if the site is successful in generating interest.

My family and I live in southeastern Pennsylvania, just outside Philadelphia. Here is a link to the Google Earth map showing our area of the state, and here is the Shippack Township home page. We are also fortunate enough to have a little place in the Florida Keys, right near Marathon on Key Colony Beach. We bought the house back in 2003 and have been enjoying it ever since, my wife and I made this our primary residence because we spend so much time there. We'll be changing that back to Pennsylvania in the near future as my business gets underway. Anyway, here are some shots of that house.

The Florida Keys are referred to as the American Carribean, we have to agree. We have lots of friends down there (actually my wife does), some are locals and some are transients like us. Here's a link to the community website for Key Colony Beach, and here is a link to the Google Earth map.

We have a place in Tennessee as well, this is condo in downtown Nashville, I was working there for about 3 years so we were jumping around a bit. In 2009 I left and we are now eaither going to rent or sell the property. Here's the Google Earth link, and here is a link to the website. It's a great place if you like Nashville.
